Communications

  • National Press Secretary
    • Support Communications Director in implementing national communications strategies
    • Manage direct correspondence with members of press
    • Draft press releases, talking points, speeches, op-eds, newsletters, questionnaires, and other written materials
    • Compile and analyze daily press clips
    • Stay up to date with and advise on relevant national news
  • Educational Content Director
    • Develop content to educate young people on politics and government
    • Connect with educational institutions and on-campus groups
  • Rapid Response Coordinator
    • Stay up to date with and advise on relevant national news
    • Quickly develop and deliver relevant content
    • Coordinate responses between different departments
  • Constituency Coordinator
    • Help us connect with diverse cultures and communities
    • Create messaging plans for direct outreach to voters of diverse cultures and communities
    • Be a liaison between the Executive Board and target community leaders
  • Programming Coordinator
    • Conceive and manage public-facing events, both virtual and in-person, and live and recorded
    • Coordinate production schedules
    • Produce live panels and webinars

Digital

  • Digital Fundraising Coordinator
    • Work closely with the communications, political, and finance teams to maximize fundraising opportunities across all online platforms
    • Create and execute innovative digital fundraising campaigns
    • Determine and meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly fundraising goals, which might include peer-to-peer, grassroots, crowdfunding, and other digital efforts
  • Paid Media Coordinator
    • Monitoring spending and KPIs of ads across different platforms
    • Develop, optimize, and manage paid media campaigns including search and social
    • Develop and test ad copy, landing pages, and other factors that can impact ad performance
  • Digital Associate
    • Write and create content to represent Voters of Tomorrow across multiple platforms
    • Develop acquisition strategies through the use of pledges, petitions, or other online actions
    • Work closely with the Email and SMS team to review KPIs and optimize outreach
  • Social Media Manager
    • Using Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Snapchat to grow and maintain the organization's brand
    • Monitoring social media trends and working with the communications and digital teams to respond accordingly
    • Interacting with stakeholders via the organization's social media accounts
  • Video Director
    • Conceives and coordinates the development of video content support the organization's messaging
    • Consolidates and keeps track of asset licenses
  • Merch Director
    • Conceives and designs merchandise items
    • Manages the organization's relation with designers and providers.

Operations

  • Inclusivity, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility (IDEA) Director
    • Measures and monitors organization’s diversity of race, gender, sexual orientation, and ideology.
    • Develops practices to further the company’s diversity and inclusion
    • Provides support and insight to every team relative to equity, diversity, accessibility, and inclusion
  • Deputy Operations Director
    • Right-hand to Ops Director, assists in overseeing operations team and ensuring task completion and organization’s efficiency
  • Recruitment Coordinator
    • Assists in expanding the development of the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding processes
    • Oversees efforts in organizational recruitment
  • Partnerships Director
    • Establishes and expands relationships and partnerships with the targeted community (Gen Z) and organizations, parties, politicians
    • Develops plans to create mutually beneficial partnerships and relationships with aforementioned targets
  • Planning and Advance Director
    • Plans all VOT events (digital and in-person)
  • Research Coordinator
    • Assists in developing research processes
    • Leads efforts in research for various topics across the organization
  • IT and Engineering Coordinator
    • Maintains the backend of the VOT website
    • Troubleshoots software issues for team
    • Oversees software training during new hire on-boarding and organization-wide software additions
  • Administrative Assistant
    • Handles administrative tasks assigned by Directors in the Operations Team

Strategy

  • Deputy Strategy Director
    • Support the director in the day-to-day work of the department
    • Provide guidance and leadership in initiatives across departments

Mobilization

  • Deputy Mobilization Director
    • Support the director in the day-to-day work of the department
    • Create and implement of mobilization strategies and actions
    • Work closely with the political and strategy departments to coordinate deployment of state and local chapters
  • Organizing Director
    • Build and manage a community of engaged and effective young activists to support Voters of Tomorrow's efforts
    • Organize and coordinate actions and demonstrations by chapter members, volunteers, and coalition partners
    • Support the Chapter Coordinator in the development and activation of state and local chapters
  • Political Affairs Coordinator
    • Work with the Political and Strategy teams to integrate Voters of Tomorrow's chapter members and volunteers into existing campaigns
    • Serve as a point of contact for political organizers and campaigns

Finance

  • Call Time Manager
    • Staffing the Executive Director during call time
    • Preparing asks, fact sheets, and other information as solicited by the Finance Director
    • Conducting donor follow-up
  • Grant Coordinator
    • Find and research potential organizational grants
    • Develop effective grant proposals and reports
    • Monitor and report use of grant funds

Political

  • Political Partnerships Coordinator
    • Manage and build relationships with non-campaign related organizations
    • Create opportunities for engagement on issues relevant to Gen-Z, particularly non-partisan issues
    • Serve as main point of contact from VOT to all partner organizations
  • Campaign and Elections Manager
    • Coordinate all work with campaigns and candidates that VOT has endorsed
    • Brainstorm and implement electoral strategies
    • Serve as point of contact from VOT to campaigns
  • Political Engagement Coordinator
    • Work with team to expand the reach of the Political Department and VOT as a whole, including through petitions, toolkits, and more
    • Collaborate with other VOT departments to ensure that political goals are met in all external engagement
  • Deputy Political Director
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Political Department to ensure deadlines are being met and team members are accountable
    • Assist with special projects that require the Political Department’s attention

Special Projects

  • Special Projects Director
    • Develop and lead special projects and initiatives
    • Coordinate with organizations and other VOT departments to create new special projects
  • Project Manager
    • Assist in special projects implementation

Policy

  • Deputy Policy Director
    • Oversees the day-to-day operations of the Policy Department to ensure deadlines are met and team members are accountable
    • Works in collaboration with the Policy Director to create petitions, evaluating candidates with our Gen Z Policy Platform, and other special projects
  • Federal Legislative Coordinator
    • Responsible for keeping VOT updated on legislation coming through Congress and how it affects Gen Z
    • Works with our political team and policy team to advocate for federal legislation
  • State & Local Legislative Coordinator
    • Responsible for keeping VOT updated on legislation on the state and local level and how it affects Gen Z
    • Works with our political team and policy team to advocate for legislation on the state and local level
  • Policy Analyst
    • Assists policy team on projects including our policy platform, endorsement evaluation, legislative advocacy, and much more to advocate for the issues that are most important to Gen Z.
