Sari Beth Rosenberg

For nearly 19 years, Sari Beth Rosenberg has been teaching U.S. History and Government as well as AP U.S. History at the High School for Environmental Studies, a New York City public school. She was a member of the team that wrote the new social studies curriculum for the New York City Department of Education. She is a frequent curriculum consultant for the New-York Historical Society. In March 2019, she was awarded the Paul Gagnon Prize by the National Council for History Education.
This spring, Rosenberg wrote a 13-part series, "Teaching in the Age of Coronavirus," for PBS Newshour Extra. Her writing also frequently appears in The Progressive and she wrote the #SheDidThat Series for A&E Television Networks/Lifetime, daily women’s history posts and online videos. Her other media appearances include, TheSkimm’s “Back To School” series and Travel Channel’s “Mysteries at the Museum.”
She currently hosts the "Zoom Teacher Series" for PBS Newshour Extra.
