Sophia Shapiro

Sophia Shapiro (she/her) is an 19-year-old political organizer, honors student, and Stamps Scholar at the University of Pittsburgh. She currently coordinates communications and media relations for The Prom at the Polls initiative presented by Voters of Tomorrow. Sophia is incredibly passionate about mobilizing young people through civic engagement and digital media outreach.

Sophia has extensive experience working in politics providing crucial communications materials and research knowledge. She also organizes on-campus and is involved in a plethora of youth organizations
